Demineralized Bone Matrix

4D DBM Strip

A strip cut from a single piece of cancellous bone and fully demineralized, exposing the growth factors that encourage bone formation. After compression the strip returns to its original dimensions.

Schematic representation of graft structure

Description

Each strip is cut from one piece of cancellous bone and demineralized in full, a process that exposes the growth factors within the bone which encourage new bone formation.

The strip has a sponge-like consistency. Once compressed it recovers to its original dimensions, filling the void and minimizing the space between the graft and the host bone.

Supplied in three footprints suited to different defect geometries, from compact craniofacial sites through longer spinal and extremity applications.
