Demineralized Bone Matrix
4D DBM Crush
A composite of 100% demineralized bone matrix cortical ground mixed with mineralized cancellous chips. Formulated to resist irrigation so the graft stays where it is placed.
Schematic representation of graft structure
Description
A two-component graft combining demineralized cortical ground with mineralized cancellous chips. The cortical fraction contributes osteoinductive potential; the cancellous chips contribute an open, porous structure and structural body to the mix.
The formulation is designed to resist irrigation, holding position in the void once placed rather than washing out during lavage.
Demineralized bone matrix may be used to supplement autologous cancellous or corticocancellous graft material where additional graft volume is required.
